We're Getting Married! How 'bout that?!
On December 23 at roughly 4pm, an event 6 YEARS in the making
occurred under the oaks at the lagoon in
City Park. Sean got on one
knee and proposed! I was SPEECHLESS, but eventually (after the
shock wore off and Sean said, "So, yes?") I said, "of course" and the
whirlwind countdown to the big day began. Hopefully this site will
answer whatever questions y'all may have about our upcoming
nuptials (and help keep
us organized!). Here, you'll be able to find all
kinds of up-to-the-minute info including maps, hotel and vendor
info, links to our registries and much, much more!

First, though, the basics:
The BEAUTIFUL ring Sean presented to me on that
kinda muggy December day not so long ago...

The Date! July 7, 2007. We thought we were being
clever when we chose that day. Us and Eva Longoria.

Where it's at?! The ceremony is going to be held at the
Chapel of the North American Martyrs which is
actually located INSIDE of Jesuit High School, Sean's
Alma Mater. I pushed for a reception in the gym at
Ben Franklin, but Sean wouldn't budge ;) Which
brings us to...

The Reception! Which will be held at the spectacular
Venusian Gardens in the Marigny. Oooooooh.

Why so early? As most of you are aware, Sean and I
are getting hitched in the A.M. The most frequent
question folks ask upon hearing that little tidbit is,
"Are you insane?" Here's the rationale: Sean and I are
very active in the theatre community. We figured that
if we wanted any of our friends (and a few of our
attendants) to actually make it to our wedding, we
should probably plan it earlier in the day so as not to
conflict with anyone's shows. That, and we heard it
was cheaper to get married during the day. All LIES.

Please keep in mind that this page in UNDER
CONSTRUCTION! So sad. But, more WILL be added
in the next few days so, please check back for late-
breaking wedding news! Question? Comments?
